Here's the reality of the 21st century for you and me as dentists.  Advanced training has never been easier to obtain and dental technology and materials have never been better, stronger, more functional, life like or lasted longer.  Our ability to rescue any dental patient, no matter how much of a "disaster," is a routine reality.  Things that my grandfather and father never dreamed about in their practices, you and I have at our fingertips every day in our practices.  It's truly an amazing age!

In fact, you could say we are in the best "golden age" ever for our profession no matter what corner of the globe in which you practice.  In the previous age, $5,000 USD went a long ways with dental care.  However, a full mouth of complex dentistry now requires $25K-$100K+ USD.  As you are too painfully aware, the fee for this type of dentistry is completely outside government programs (Medicare, NHS, etc.) and insurance plans which creates significant difficulty for dentists to find the patients with both the means and the desire to fully what we can predictably provide them for their benefit.
